Palm Kit Debuts in Palm Pavilion at PC Expo

June 26 /PRNewswire/ — Matias Corporation debuted its Wearable
Kit for Palm™ handheld computers today, in the Designed for Palm
Handhelds Pavilion (Nasdaq: Palm) at TECHXNY/PC Expo in New York.
The
Matias Wearable Kit comes with everything you need to turn a Palm
handheld computer into a wearable computer, at a fraction of the cost
of an industrial wearable PC. The kit includes: a Wearable Half Keyboard™,
all necessary cables, wrist straps, and software.

a Wearable Half Keyboard attached to a Palm handheld, you can
type fast enough to write long detailed reports, right on the scene.
You don’t need a desk. You can be standing anywhere and just
type away. When you get back to the office, just synchronize the Palm

applications ranging from collecting field data to writing on-the-scene
reports, nothing is faster than a Wearable Half Keyboard attached
to a Palm handheld. Prospective uses and users include: field workers,

inventory control, etc.
The
Half Keyboard’s patented skill transfer design allows users
to touch type with one hand, using their existing skills, at speeds
almost as fast as with both hands (up to 88% of normal typing rates).
